The broad range of services provided by councils' means that jobs are varied and flexible.
You could be a child care worker, engineer, road safety officer, electrician, fork lift driver, planner, youth officer, public relations officer, apprentice trades person, environmental officer, librarian, lifeguard, records manager, ranger. The list goes on.
The great thing about working in Local Government is that whatever job you do you will be making a difference by working for, and with, communities.
