Resources and information

The resources and information pages are regularly updated and contain resources produced by the program and other resources relevant to the project such as:

  • Action Guides to provide practical advice to Council on how to under take projects to mitigate or adapt to climate change.
  • A brief explanation of the science of climate change and some of the probable impacts.
  • Climate change scenarios for regions of NSW.
  • Presentations shown at workshops and events.
  • Educational material that will assist councils in running climate change campaigns internally and within their communities.
  • Website links that are useful for councils such as NSW Government agencies climate change programs, information on national and international climate change initiatives and climate change science.

Workshop Package is now available

The Climate Change Action Planning for Local Government Workshop Package has been developed to assist NSW local councils prepare for and address climate change impacts in a strategic, risk-based manner. The Workshop Package can be used by councils to undertake workshops to plan a local climate change response. Click here to find out more.
