Sustainability Training Package
The Sustainability Training Package is aimed at council staff such as educators, sustainability coordinators, human resource training officers and those looking to use training as a tool to progress sustainability in their council.
The Training Package includes the following materials:
- Step by step guide for preparing and facilitating a structured workshop.
- PowerPoint presentations.
- Handouts.
- Training aids.
- Evaluation forms.
- Templates.
- Tips for group activities and facilitation techniques.
The Sustainability Training Package was formally launched via two Sydney workshops during November and December 2010. The evalution report pertaining to these workshops is now available.

This section considers why training is important as part of a sustainability program. It addresses training objectives, gaining support at the executive level and linking training to council's goals.

This section relates to the planning stages involved in developing and delivering a sustainability training program.
